Burnley have continued to bolster their lineup for the upcoming Premier League season, signing free agent, Nathan Redmond, on a two-year deal.
He became the club’s seventh signing following their return to the Premier League in May.
The Clarets’ social media team found another unique way to announce their newest signing, using a hilarious clip from the American TV show 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' to relay the news.
In the clip, Detective Jake Peralta (played by Andy Samberg) makes the guys in the criminal line-up sing the Backstreet Boys’ song 'I Want It That Way 'so they can be easily identified.
Burnley inserted Redmond as suspect No. 5 in the clip, per their Twitter account, making him 'sing' along to the classic tune.
When the witness said, 'It was number 5', Redmond reappeared in the video. He continued the witness’s statement, saying he 'has signed for Burnley! Up The Clarets!'
Redmond makes Premier League return
Redmond spent last season at Turkish club, Besiktas, scoring five goals and recording five assists in 25 Super Lig appearances.
The former Norwich and Southampton player, who has one England cap to his name, opted to leave Besiktas at the end of his contract.

Redmond is delighted to play professional football back in England, telling the club’s website that he 'always had aspirations to play again in the Premier League'.
He found the Clarets to be a perfect fit for him, saying:
"Burnley's project matches with my ambitions. The management team feel like they can enhance my game more and see the value I can bring on and off the field. It feels like a perfect match."
